Vicki was a sweet heart! We worked together and I enjoyed her company. She was like a grandmother. A special lady. She sure did love her Smitty and the rest of her family. We often spoke about family as we walked over to Luby's….get our salad and cornbread. I think of her every time I bake a cake. Stick of butter! Glad to have known her. Will always remember you! She was always a ray of sunshine to me. When I was a little down she would help me get to a better place so I could make it through the day at work. My favorite memory was when my house was robbed and they stole all my jewelry, especially al my earrings, she gave me a pair of pearl earrings so I would have something to wear until i could get more. I still have them and when I see them I always think of her. So sorry for your loss. God be with you and your family.
Vicki and I shared the same birth date and every year we would try to get together to go to lunch to celebrate our birthdays. She was always the life of the party. A very sweet and classy lady. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. I will always think of her every year on my birthday and say a prayer for her. I was also privileged to receive her book of poems that I will cherish forever. My sincere condolences to the family that she loved so much. Rest in peace, Vicki.
Vicki was a special person, a Godsend. She had tremendous faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was always full of joy and loved her family very much. That same energy, she carried over in caring for her friends or whomever she would meet as she was extremely gentle and thoughtful. She gave her sweet heart of gold to everyone which is why she received so much respect and love in return. Everyone knows she was still living young as she enjoyed the casino, her Scrabble games, reading daily bible verses, decorating her tree all seasons and holidays, painting rocks, writing poetry, enjoying music (her Elvis), watching theatre movies, reading books, chatting with friends and most of all taking care of her family. Vicki felt like family too many but especially to me. In my years of knowing her, I learned by watching and listening to her. She was always there for support and encouragement. She was my co-worker but in reality, a dear friend and a mother. I am so grateful GOD put her in my path as she is one of my counted blessings. She was an inspiration to me and will always live in my soul. May you rest in Peace, prayers for your family.
Vicki and I were coworkers, where we developed an ever lasting friendship. We talked and shared so much during our friendship. For my retirement, a mutual friend of ours gave me a copy of her book of poems. I truly cherish it. I will sincerely miss you my friend. Peace be with you and may our heavenly FATHER comfort your family!
