It was 1988 Los Angeles, California, Walking in to Disneyland, Amongst a Crowded morning, I Was there with my Family, The Park was Full of People, In Front of Me and Many behind me , All of a Sudden I Hear the Name Larry being called , Not thinking it was me they were calling for, So I continued walking , And the Call came again Larry !!!
Of Course not turning around I continued to Walk with my Family, Another Call Larry !! , So I decided to Turn Around, And Guess Who it was , Ted Lenz 1,500 miles away from Home, Never in my Life I would have thought Anyone that far from Home would Know me , What a Moment We Shared!!

Aunt Nina has a very large family, and we all try to get together for the big holidays each year. Ted is ever the family man and had his own son’s families to round as well. This caused him to frequently miss an occasion or two. We poked fun and nicknamed him The Ghost since we heard Nina talk about him, but never saw him. Ted took this nickname to another level when he showed up to a huge family photo dressed in a white sheet as The Ghost!!! I loved his sense of humor, and his commitment to family
Ted loved to fish, and fished very often off our pier on Lake Anahuac. He loved it so much that anytime I rented the property to tenants I would carve out an easement in the lease for Ted so he could always enjoy his favorite spot! It was the Uncle Ted clause, and he took advantage of it often. This is a picture of Ted and his bestie enjoying the pier.
Ted, I hope everyday is a day to fish there in Heaven, with lots of keepers and good fighters.
