I worked with Rosa at Texas A&M and was on extended leave while she passed away. What a bright light she was! She always had a smile on her face and was friendly to everyone she met. She will be so terribly missed. Praying for her family.
We found out today that Rosa had passed away last week. We are so sorry sending prayers to her family. We worked with Rosa through A&M for 20 plus years and will miss her very much. God be with you all.
I've known Rosa for 15 years. Rosa would say "Hey Friend!" when I saw her at work. She called me one of her "peeps". I never imagined I would be writing something like this for her. She had an amazing fiery personality. I love her sarcasm. I could talk to her about anything. From migraines to family trips to oatmeal... anything.
To Rosa's Family,
She loved you all. It was evident the way she talked about you. I know that you don't know all of us on a personal level, but there are many that will keep Rosa with us for the rest of our lives.
I'm thankful for the time I spent with her.
Sunshine is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Rosa. She was sunshine through and through. I was blessed to get to work and learn from her, taught that a smile goes a long way and that one could never be over dressed for work. I’ll miss our make up and style talks. I’ll miss her laugh and stunning lashes. Rosa and I talked a lot over the loss of our sisters, and it fills me with peace knowing they are reunited and rejoicing in Heaven together. To Rosas family, know how deeply the A&M family cherished Rosa. She meant so much to so many. My family’s thoughts and prayers are with y’all.
