My Papa was super-man, in my eyes, growing up. He could build anything, worked harder than anyone I’ve ever seen and always knew enough information to fix just about any problem in a home or car by himself. He was one of the most intelligent people I’d ever met. I was so lucky to be able to spend lots of time with him through my life and to be able to hear stories of him doing celebrity limousine work and his time at Anheuser Busch but also his hobbies and passions like coins, fishing and animals. He was always hatching something in the garage, had fresh tomatoes in the window and a new coin to talk about or an episode of Alaskan Bush people on. He was such a unique and special person and we were able to take a family trip to Wellsville, NY (his hometown) after my Granny’s passing and I learned so much about him an an individual. He was not a man of many words and so typically a visit before Granny’s passing included lots of me and her conversing and Papa laughing or nodding so this trip was such a look into his childhood and life. I was lucky enough to meet tons of new family also and I felt so connected to Papa and where he was from. Papa was a wonderful grandfather and friend and I will miss him dearly. He will be reunited with my Granny, the love of his life, and for that, I cannot be more thankful. I love you Granny and Papa. Until I see you again!
