With my sincerest condolences and apologies, I just found out about the passing of Dr. Vick. It was an honor to work under his supervision in Harlandale ISD. I, like so many others, learned from his leadership and mentorship. I'll never forget his unique humor and will always remain grateful for his support of my program and career. Please accept my prayers in his memory.

As you know, Dr. Vick was one of my professors at Oklahoma Christian. He made a lasting impression on me – I can remember many specific comments he made in class and realized then that he was goading us to really think and get serious about the business of teaching. What a quick wit and grand sense of humor he had – I always enjoyed visiting with him! I was so delighted when your family came to Prestoncrest. I know he was a character, but he also had great character and was serious about Christianity and his relationship with God and Christ. What a great example he was for all of us. I send my sincere sympathies in your loss of such a good man.
