I am heartbroken. I met Raymond when I worked as a receptionist at Entre Nous and I loved him from the moment I met him. He cut my hair for a long time until I moved out to the suburbs and we lost touch. He has been on my mind a great deal and I kept searching for him on Facebook hoping to reconnect. I decided to google him to see where he is working and this page pulled up. Needless to say I am shocked and sad. I did not even know he was sick. He was such an extraordinary person, I know that his family and close friends must be devastated and I am so sorry for their loss. The first thing he ever said to me was "Girl, that hair's not doin' a thing for you!". It still makes me laugh when I think about it. He was right and he fixed it. He always made me smile and I will hold on tight to those memories.
I've lost many in my life that were close to me but this hit hard. You were my best friend in high school and always in my heart wherever our lives took us. We shared a passion for food and it all started at Shipley's Donuts! I was your first kiss in a drive in, ha! I love you so much, if I could just hug you one more time before the heaven's swept you up. Too many if only's. As much as we want you here with us, it eases my mind to know you are in the arms of your Mother once again. Tomorrow you will be cursing us all as we shed tears in your memory. I can hear you now, "good grief"! I love you as much as rainbows my friend and someday we will meet again and I have a funny feeling when we do, you will push me down!

It still has not quite sunk in that you are gone Raymond. I still anticipate you coming around the corner at work and kissing me on the cheek and saying, "Hello Beautiful". I will miss your hugs that can take your breath away and last forever. You have been my friend since we were young. No matter how infuriating you could be sometimes, you never forgot to tell me that you loved me. It was just your way. I cannot not express in words what it meant to me to be there as you took your last breathes, to hold your hand and rub your head, to comfort you as you tried to let go. I will love you forever and think about you every day. I will miss you. Until we meet again....I love you.
I sit here at 3:30 in the morning Rymond. Looking at what your friends say about what you have done to their lives. Uncle. You have been there for us no matter what. Always there to tell us that it will be alright. Always the one to make us smile and to take our side even if we were in the wrong. I will speak for my sister and my brothers. You helped make us into the strong confident people that we are today. Nobody could ever take away what you have given to us. Forever we will love you and take in every moment that you have given us. Although we started out as a customer relationship, we became good friends. I looked forward every four weeks to seeing you and catching up on all you had been doing. Having lived in Europe for 24 years, we shared our love of that continent. There are very few people that are as honest, kind, and sincere as you were. I miss you terribly my dear friend. Love, Judy

Thank you for All the fun memories. My heart is heavy. I cannot express in words what we had.
