Mr. Ray Clifton Helmer's Obituary
Ray Clifton Helmer was born September 11, 1935 in Baytown, Texas and went to be with the Lord August 4, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank Clifton Helmer and Mary Lilla Dillard Davenport; his loving wife of 63 years: Odelia Drake Helmer; brothers: Paul Helmer and Herbert Davenport, and son in law: Barry Ramsey.
He is survived by his brother: Don Helmer; sister: Theresa Davenport Shimek; daughter’s: Pam Ramsey and Debbie Caldwell and husband Charles Caldwell; grandson: Chris Caldwell and wife Lauren; grand-daughter: Candice Ramsey; great grand-daughter: Raylee Rulander and many neices, nephews and friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with the Celebration of Life on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00 am, in the Chapel at San Jacinto Funeral Home. Mr. Helmer will be laid to rest in San Jacinto Memorial Park immediately following the services.
