Mr. Paul Ray Goodson's Obituary
Paul Ray Goodson was born on July 9, 1954 to his parents, Dewey Oris Goodson and Dorothy Dell Sharp Goodson. Paul received his heavenly wings after a long illness on July 14, 2016. Paul worked for Baker Oil Tools as a first class machinist and a master mechanic with his own shop. Whatever was wrong with a vehicle from changing spark plugs to overhauling a transmission to rebuilding a motor he did it and did it right. His favorite thing he loved most was singing and playing his guitar. Paul had a beautiful voice and sang at different places and he would even go to an old friend, Ross' birthday party and play for him.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Dorothy Goodson, sister, Charlotte Alexander, nephew, Shawn Nunez and his first wife, Crystal Goodson. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Julia Goodson, 3 daughters, Tiffany Vickers & husband, Don of Crosby, Tx., Brandy Daniel of Houston, Tx and Courtnie Goodson of Baytown, Tx. Stepchildren, Benjamin Drew, Shannon Hedgecoxe, & Steve Hedgecoxe,Jr. of Dayton, Tx. Two sisters Carla Stanley and husband, Keith of Huntington, Tx.and Lyna Stephenson of Baytown, Tx. Several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild
