Going to the beach, The Simpsons and the Ellerbe’s. Vernon and dad would put up a canopy between the two cars and mom and Marie would cook breakfast while as kids played in the water.. Some weekends they would pile all four kids in the backseat of our mercury and the four adults in the front seat and go to our ranch in Jacksonville for the weekend. So much love and so many good memories
