how well i remember my summers growing up , each year i would get to go spend one week with aunt fay and uncle elsmer in houston, what a treat for a country girl and how fun it was, uncle elsmer would take me and brenda on his bus for a day trip around houston, how much fun that was, my love to the whole family, kathy johnson

Laura was a beautiful rose on the family tree. She was a blessing to everyone and she will be sorely missed. She had a beautiful servant heart and no one went away hungry or unhugged. We are blessed that we had her in our lives and are so thankful that we can look forward to seeing her again in a beautiful new body when we join her in the presence of the Lord. We love you, Laura, and we miss you.

Laura was truly a wonderful angel here on God's earth. I worked with Laura at Sheldon ISD. This is where I first met her in 1985. We grew to be wonderful friends. So many great memories to list, just know we have lost a beautiful soul. She was truly loved.
