Lana my dear sweet friend, we had such good memories together at North Shore High School and Friday evenings together with Priscilla to eat fish. Lana was such a kind and loving person we would talk about any and everything. When she got ready to retire she called and ask James ( my husband) if he wanted her job and he took the job in her place. I will miss you Lana, I always think about you and your family. Aunt Lana will always have a special place in my heart. She had a radiant spirit, loving nature, and a way of making everyone feel special. Some of my best childhood memories are of spending time at the Immel house with all of our cousins. We would sit around the table, swap stories and giggle the night away while eating tubs of popcorn. While we are mourning here, I know she is having quite the reunion in heaven right now with all of her loved ones.
Aunt Lana was a joyful part of my childhood. Whenever I would spend the night with my cousins-Brandy, Lil Lana, and Michael- I never wanted to leave. She was the kind of mom and aunt everyone needs in their life. She always had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. Everyone was blessed to be around her. I am traveling with my husband this week, so I am sending all the Immels hugs and kisses from afar. Lana is joining a pretty good group of crazy Immels up in heaven. She will be forever missed down here.
My Aunt Lana has always had a special place in my heart, and always will. She was such an important part of my childhood, filling it with love and compassion. I will always be grateful for the wonderful memories I have of her. While we are in sorrow, Heaven is rejoicing in welcoming her home.
