Jimmie was a very special lady whose life was a great example to us younger women at Market Street Baptist Church. She was strong in her faith and served the Lord faithfully. We know she’ll be missed by many family and friends. Condolences to Linda and all Jimmie’s family.
Dear Linda, I have known your Mother all my life, she was Aunt Jimmie to our Family, that's just what neighbors did back then. When I was a young teenager would go & visit your Mom,You & Theresa. We would sit in the back yard waiting for Mr. Lindell to come home from work, and she would tell us about her high school days. Your Mom and Grandmother gave me my first Wedding Shower at the old Howard home, I was forever Grateful. Loved your Mom's nursing days, old school crisp white uniforms, hat, hose and shoes, she was immaculate. We all enjoyed the afternoon coffee breaks at Aunt Thelma's, and she always came to visit with Ms. Verdice from Louisiana. Aunt Jimmie was a creature of habit, perfection & so creative. We missed your Mom when she moved from her home on Greens Bayou. The Shaw & Vincent Family Loved & Admired your Mother, she was a Kind Soul. Linda we are So Very Sorry for your Loss.
