I too can remember how strong and funny Irene was I too bowled and played pokeno with her she told me the story about her mouse she kept me laughing everytime I was around her.Her and Frank helped me with any advice anytime .I remember pokeno at her house and she made the best food. I always enjoyed being around Irene she was one of a kind and I know she will be missed.Now I know her and my mom are up in heaven catching up on old times they were dear friends.My condolences go to the whole family just always remember the good times.
It was a joy to know Irene, she always made me feel loved the minute she saw me whether it was at the bowling alley are playing Pokeno,Irene would say you better get over here and give me a hug girl.Irene was a wonederful person I will miss her deeply to her family I am so sorry for your loss may god bless you always. I have to say Mamaw Gray has a place in my heart and several wonderful memories. I will miss my trips to Houston to see my crazy Mamaw Gray. Oh the memories she made, I'll never forget the day she told her "mouse tattoo" joke or all the times she actually wore ME out shopping. She had so much class and spunk, Mamaw sure was one of a kind and there is no summing her up in one single word. Things were never dull at mamaw's. If you were out of line buddy she set you straight. She wasn't scared of anything. I'll miss those mornings of sleeping in and waking up to a full course breakfast. I'll even miss all the cheek pinching.
