Eleanor and Jim spent retirement years traveling in their RV to many places. They visited family in Ohio and RV friends throughout the United States.
Eleanor loved local sports teams. She and Jim had season Houston Oiler tickets from their first game in 1960 until they left Houston. She then became an original season ticket holder to the Houston Texans. She loved the Houston Rockets and often referred to Clyde Drexler as her boyfriend. If only she could have met him (altho she did have an autographed basketball from him). Eleanor also enjoyed eating out with her family. She never turned down an invitation.
Eleanor sang regularly in her Church choirs during her younger years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Methodist Church in Houston Texas for 45 years.
