I remember the summer of '69 when I was 16 years old. That was my "vacation" summer. Uncle Fred and Aunt Mary Ola brought me to Houston from Ohio, and when they left I stayed behind to spend a week with Aunt Eleanor and Uncle Jim. It was a memorable week full of "firsts". A very special memory was a visit to the NASA Space Center (yes, the "Houston we've got a problem" one), and sitting up all night watching the Lunar landing, and Neil Armstrong taking the first steps on the Moon! I traveled from Ohio to Houston to watch an Ohio man make history. It still makes me breathless. Thank you Aunt Eleanor for all the priceless memories, big and small" that you gave me over the years. As long as I have a memory, you will dwell therein. Claire Ann (Harter)
