Cruz Perez Sr. was 88 years old, he passed away on October 1, 2014. He was born on May 3, 1926 in Rosenberg, TX and resided in Houston, TX. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Maria Inez Perez, and 3 grandchildren, James, Natalie, and Abigail. He is survived by his 9 children Robert, Patricia, Rosalinda, Susana, Cruz Jr., Richard, Ernest, Sonya, and Sandra. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 21 great - grandchildren and 1 sister Estefana Osorio. In 1954 Cruz married Maria Capetillo of Texas City, TX. He was a hard working father and loving husband. His favorite sports were wrestling and baseball, but he would never miss a wrestling match. If it was not for baseball or wrestling, he could be found in his favorite chair (sitting under the trees where he loved to relax). His favorite foods were Menudo, Mole, Pizza, Tacos from Taco Bell, Chocolate donuts. Every morning he made sure to have a cup of coffee and sweet bread. He also enjoyed sewing his own pants and shirt. Cruz will be in our hearts and dearly missed, but the memory of our father, grandfather, brother will go on for generations to come.
