My family, the Fullers's lived next to the Rogers on 16th Street in Galena Park in the 40's. We were very young, but I never forgot the family. They were wonderful people. So sad for your loss.

Arlene, Mike, and Mark - I just heard about Chester's passing. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with y'all. I still, to this day, tell stories about Chester, from our many visits in his man cave (he made it hip to have one before it really was!) to his countdowns every year for the start of bow season. I miss those times and regret that I didn't get back over there more often. I hope the knowledge that he was loved by many is in some way a comfort, along with knowing he is with Jesus now. While we grieve, we know that we will see him again when we join him in Heaven with our Savior. Take care.
I can't imagine how I am going to go on without you. The ache in my heart will never go away. I know in in time the loss I feel now will lessen and the good memories will fill my heart. Chester and I played Little League baseball together many many years ago in Galena Park. Life and circumstances separated us for 35 years. We got re-aquaited a number of years ago through our love of antique clocks and shared many trips and searches for our prizes. He had become a very dear friend again and I will miss him. Marcus
