Mr. Charles Landon's Obituary
Mr. Charles Landon entered into rest on Saturday, June 19, 2010, his 84th birthday, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Landon proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and exhibited his unbridled patriotism his entire life. He was a member of First Baptist Church of South Houston, Chaplain and Lifetime member of VFW Post #9188 and a longtime employee of Armco Steel and proud member of the United Steelworkers of America (AFL - CIO). Survivors include his loving wife, Marie; daughters, Karen Morris and her husband, Robert; Betty Hutchins and her husband, Ronnie, Patricia Rayburn, Cheryl Clark, Mary Frances Alexander and her husband, William Paul, and Lisa Kay Wilson and her husband, Billie. He also leaves to cherish his memory fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and a host of friends. For those desiring, the family requests in lieu of usual remembrances, donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Memory of Charles Landon.
