I'd like to pay tribute to the remarkable life of my Uncle and Godfather Bernard as we say good bye to him. We celebrate the pure and honest heart that beat within him and the unwavering love that he put upon each and every one of us. Him and his brother Richard, my father, would chat every week about everything that was going on in their lives, even if it was brief. Even though his brother Richard is going through medical issues of his own, my uncle thought about how it would affect his brother's health. My Uncle believed in the power of giving without expectations and reminding us of that kindness should be a basic quality in the fabric of our lives. Rest in peace Uncle Bernard, knowing that you will never be forgotten and your spirit shall forever guide us. We love you and will see you on the other side.
He worked 45 years with USA/NASA. We called him our Rocket Scientist, He brought Ron and I some way cool pictures like these. We are so proud of him!
Mr. Contreras, as I’ve always called you, it was such an honor to have you as my father-in-law. You always had good advice for your wonderful son Ron and myself. I will miss you and miss that I won’t be able to send you home with a plate of food and your mason jar of salsa, rest in peace, your daughter-in-law Sylvia.
