Eddie Martinez

Area Managing Partner, Operations

Eddie Martinez born and raised in Houston Texas. Eddie had 3 children Alicia, Isaiah, and Reagan. Married to Maria his high school sweetheart for over 25 years. Eddie loves the ocean, fishing, and BBQ-ing for his family and friends. When able, Eddie loves to travel with his family.

Eddie started his career at the Guillen Funeral Home, located in Houston. He assisted with family visitations and removals after school. He also assisted the funeral home in keeping the cemetery clean by mowing the lawn. After attending school at Commonwealth Institute in Houston, Eddie started to work at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home while attending school.

After eight years Eddie and his family moved to San Antonio to work at Porter Loring Mortuary. After 10 years at the mortuary, Eddie and his family decided it was time to come back home to Houston. He started working as a Location Manager with SCI and is now the Area Managing Partner of Operations for South Park Funeral Home at NorthStar Memorial Group.

Jackie Arellano

Managing Partner, Family Service

Jackie is a dedicated professional who has been serving families since 2007. Her journey in the funeral industry began as a family service advisor, where she provided compassionate support and guidance to families during their time of loss. Her ability to connect with people and provide comfort led to her promotion as an assistant manager in 2012, where she took on additional responsibilities and continued to excel in her role.

In 2017, Jackie faced a personal tragedy when her sister passed away. This event tested her passion for the funeral industry, as she experienced firsthand the profound impact that compassionate care can have on grieving families. Inspired by her own experience and a renewed sense of purpose, Jackie decided to deepen her commitment to helping others through their grief.

In 2019, she joined the San Jacinto team, a reputable funeral home known for its empathetic and professional services. Jackie's passion for assisting families in their time of need aligns perfectly with the values of the San Jacinto team, and she quickly became an invaluable member of the staff.

Outside of work, Jackie enjoys spending quality time with her husband and four sons. They often embark on camping trips together, embracing the beauty of nature and creating lasting memories. In addition, Jackie has a creative side and finds solace in painting. It serves as a therapeutic outlet for her and allows her to express herself artistically.

With her extensive experience, compassionate nature, and personal dedication to the funeral industry, Jackie continues to make a positive impact on the lives of families she serves, providing them with comfort, support, and guidance during their most challenging times.

Vanessa Delgado

Location Manager

Vanessa Delgado, a native of Houston, Texas, embarked on her journey in the funeral profession in 2014 as a preneed sales agent. Her unwavering commitment to assisting families in preparing for the future has been a driving force throughout her career.

In addition to her work in the funeral industry, Vanessa has maintained a parallel track in the hospitality sector. Her culinary background, backed by a degree, has allowed her to thrive in both restaurant and hospitality settings. In 2019, she furthered her professional development by enrolling in the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services, culminating in her Funeral Service degree attainment in 2021.

Vanessa’s diverse experience includes time at a private firm, where she fulfilled her provisional funeral director license. Subsequently, she transitioned to hotel management, gaining valuable insights into effective leadership and operations. Now, in 2024, Vanessa holds the esteemed position of Location Manager at San Jacinto Funeral Home.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Vanessa cherishes quality moments with her husband and two daughters. Hosting gatherings for her extended family, cooking, and baking bring her immense satisfaction. And when it’s time to recharge, impromptu trips to Disney parks provide the perfect escape.

Vanessa’s profound passion for the funeral profession continues to drive her, as she strives to offer families the utmost empathy and support during their most challenging times.
