Area General Manager
Eddie Martinez born and raised in Houston Texas. Eddie had 3 children Alicia, Isaiah, and Reagan. Married to Maria his high school sweetheart for over 25 years. Eddie loves the ocean, fishing, and BBQ-ing for his family and friends. When able, Eddie loves to travel with his family.
Eddie started his career at the Guillen Funeral Home, located in Houston. He assisted with family visitations and removals after school. He also assisted the funeral home in keeping the cemetery clean by mowing the lawn. After attending school at Commonwealth Institute in Houston, Eddie started to work at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home while attending school.
After eight years Eddie and his family moved to San Antonio to work at Porter Loring Mortuary. After 10 years at the mortuary, Eddie and his family decided it was time to come back home to Houston. He started working as a Location Manager with SCI and is now the area general manager for South Park Funeral Home at NorthStar Memorial Group.
Connell in a graduate of Benavides High School. She moved to Houston in early 2006, where she currently resides with her husband and three children. Connell has been providing compassionate care for families in the Houston area since 2012. She began her career helping with visitations, while attending Commonwealth Institute. She continued to gain knowledge in the industry and has held different positions along the way. Her love for helping families has never changed. She is now proudly the location manager for San Jacinto Funeral Home.
David L. Castro
I’ve been in the Death Care industry since 1988. I have served as a Family Service Counselor, Unit Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Market Sales Manager, and a Seminar Specialist. I am an Army Airborne Veteran. I have chaired or co-chaired many Houston Community Events. I am currently a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Laurence Catholic Church, Sugarland Texas. I am a proud father of one son and three daughters. I have three grandsons and four granddaughters. I enjoy concerts, festivals, and road trips in my spare time.
Samatha L Cantu
Samantha “Sam” joined the San Jacinto team in 2015. Sam has lived in the area with her husband and two children for over 25 years.
Sam spends much of her free time with her family, gardening, or with her beloved dogs, Ted & Willow. Sam is very passionate about the cemetery and feels honored to be a member of the San Jacinto family, where she is entrusted with managing the office and administrative teams while providing families with the very best service possible in their time of need.
