Mr. William Hamilton Roberts' Obituary
William Hamilton Roberts II (Tootie), 65, of San Augustine, Texas passed away in Houston, Texas on the evening of August 8, 2017. William was born November 17, 1951 to his parents Troy Curtis Roberts and Minnie Hardin Harbour. He was raised in West Columbia, Texas. Upon turning 17, he served 3 years in the U.S. Army receiving an Honorable Discharge. William married and raised a family while enjoying a career in the elevator industry. He began as an elevator technician and finished his career after launching a successful personal business as a state elevator inspector. Some of his greatest joys were hunting, fishing and enjoying time with his grandchildren. William was well known for his sense of humor, was well loved and brought joy to the lives of each of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Troy and Minnie Roberts, and the mother of his children, Terry Lynn Pruitt. William is survived by his brothers Troy Layton Roberts and Clay Hardin Roberts, his daughter Robbie Grace Robinson (Brett), sons Beau Kelly Roberts (Kelli) and William Ramsey Roberts (Denise), grandchildren Capt. Garrett Robinson U.S.A.F., Chelsea Robinson, Reagan Roberts, Reece Roberts, Kaci Roberts, Rayce Roberts, William Roberts, Falyne Roberts, and his significant, loving companion Doris Blissett along with many others to whom he was known as Pawpaw.
Services will be held for those who would like to attend at the San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Fwy, Houston, Texas 77015, at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.
