William Harold McGlothlin's Obituary
William Harold McGlothlin, 79, of Mickleton, New Jersey, passed away on April 28, 2024, in Pasadena, Texas. He was born on August 18, 1944, to Andrew and Florene McGlothlin in Birmingham, Alabama. William married Linda Atwood on July 27, 2013, in League City, Texas.
William had a diverse career, working as a machinist at Amoco in Texas City, a Rental Associate at Home Depot in League City, and a Jailer for Dickinson PD. He was also an active member of the CB Modulators (Blue Goose) and served as the Optimist Club President.
His hobbies included woodworking and being a master craftsman. He was a frequent diner at Denny’s in League City and Harrison House Diner in New Jersey. Additionally, William proudly served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 as a Specialist.
He is survived by his wife, Linda McGlothlin, of New Jersey. His children include daughters Shannon McGlothlin, Kim Neal, and Michelle Motley, as well as son Sean (Michele) McGlothlin. William also leaves behind several grandchildren: Gabriel, Samuel, Tyler, Amber, and Evan. His great-grandchild, Robbie, will cherish his memory.
William was preceded in death by his deceased wife, Frances (Gilligan) McGlothlin, and his brothers Doug Steeley and John Steeley.
