Mr. William Carl Flower's Obituary
Mr. William Carl Flower, 66, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 following a lengthy illness. He was retired from Armco Steel Corp. and had been a long time active member of Christ Church. Mr. Flower is survived by his loving wife Dianne whom he married on August 6, 1966; their children Kenneth Wayne Flower and wife Rebecca, Theresa Lane Flower and husband Richard Winters, and James David Thad Flower and wife Alisa; grandchildren Lauren Ashley Flower, David Eric Preston Flower, and Sean Michael Alexander Flower; a brother Arnold Adrian Flower and wife Anna; a sister Davie Ann Elveston; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Nina Vea Flower and brother-in-law Don Elveston. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Christ Church, 12815 Fuqua St., Houston,TX 77034 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Michael J. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Flower's name to Christ Church.
