Mrs. Wanda Joy Reed's Obituary
Wanda Joy Reed was born in DeKalb, Texas on December 18, 1939, and went to be with our Lord on January 31, 2018, at the age of 78. Wanda lived most of her life in Pasadena, Texas and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt.
She is preceded in death by her parents Auville and Dessie Finley. She is survived by Howard Reed (husband), Kelly Reed (Son), Mary Reed (daughter in-law), Travis Reed (grandson), Ryan Reed (grandson), Laura Pennington (granddaughter), Matthew Pennington (grandson) Jayden Reed (great-grandson), McKenzie Reed (great-granddaughter), Mary Ann Leamond (sister), Darrell Lenamond (nephew), Laurie Lenamond (niece).
She was a lover of art and painted many oil canvas paintings for friends and family. Wanda enjoyed spending time with her sister and grand children.
Wanda Joy Reed will be laid to rest on Monday, February 5, 2018, at San Jacinto Funeral Home and Memorial Park located at 14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Lewis Little presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Wanda's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
