Well Pop its been almost 3 years you have been gone..You know i would talk to you somehow or another..I really miss you..I wish you were here with us..Things have changed so much since you left us..Holidays are not the same,There are no get togethers,There are no one making memories with each other..I dont know what happens when someone leaves us,Its like everyone goes crazy..Jordan is growing tall ,she is just about as tall as I am She is doing very well in her school,Chandler is in Judo and he is doing very well,Wish you were here to come see him you would be so proud of him..Troy sends pictures to Len..He is an Orange belt now..Pretty soon he will be able to take his Dad down or Me,Lol..I can see you smiling Pop..I sure do miss you..Autumn is making A's and B's in school..Jr has grown up to be a handful ..You would have loved to have gotten on to him..But He thinks of you and talks of you often..He has bought you flowers...And he wears a Cowboy hat and dresses up like a Cowboy like you did..He always tells me,I wished Poppa didnt go to heaven..He misses you..I have your flowers he bought you and we are going to be bringing them to you..I love you Dad and Miss you..I will be going but I will write to you again soon,Love your Daughter in Law,Dianne..And Pop..thank you for always listening to me and just bein there for me..Sure wish you were here now Big Guy...See ya Pop

It's so hard to put into words what a wonderful man Cotton was. He was a wonderful Husband, Loving Father and a great Friend!
His heart was a large as the Cowboy Hat he always wore. Always thinking of others and putting their needs first. I will have nothing but great memories of him and all the wondeful times we spent together sharing laughter & tears and of course a few beers!

So many memories we could sit around talk and laugh about when it comes to pop.He was a wonderful father, but he also one of my bestest friends. I have so much love for you pop,we all have had so many good times together.I too will miss your phone calls at work during the day just to see how things were going.Im going to miss having to track your golf ball for you off the tee box.Even though it was right down the middle every time.I will miss you so much pop,your memory will never fade from my heart.Rest peacefully Dad.I love you,man.

I remember going to play Golf with Papa and riding in the golf cart with him.
I remember walking in the house and him telling me"Hello Pistol"and I would tell him "Hello Papa" and i would go give him a hug.

My memory with Dad {Cotten} I Remember goin to Dad"s an walking in his house he was always standing at the bar in the kitchen drinking a beer an smoking a cigarette. An I walk in an he was always happy to see us an say "Hey Baby"! How you doing? And he would joke an say things to me that made me laugh. And i remember goin to the V.F.W. with Dad an all the kids just having a good time. My Greatest an Most special memory of Dad was when he gave me away at my wedding. What can I say about a man who became a big part of my life,He was not only my Father in Law,He was a Dad to me,If I had something on my mind I called Dad,I needed to know how to do something I called Dad,I remember when I was redoing my Kitchen Table,Pop would call me and he would come over to look at what I was doing and tell me what I was doin wrong or right.He would bring me sanders and paint and he was involved in my projects with me,I was the worker and he was the Supervisor.I made a design of my flower bed that I wanted to do and he would give me advice on how and what he would do,And again I became his worker and he was my Supervisor.
Pop,You and I had Our good times and bad times But I will never forget you and I will Love you always and think of you often...I will see you again one day,Dianne
