Many years ago Walter got tired of telling the security guard at the West side of the Astrohall dock to move his car, so Walter moved it for him. Into a 40 yard open top container. That Rodeo was probably the most fun I had ever had watching that guy look for his Honda. Walter was a sweet man who loved his family and was a joy to work with. May you feel the presence of God reach out to your family as he has taken a good man home.
My Dad,Billy Butler and my Uncle,Randy Linn and I hunted with Walter back in what we always refer to as the Blanco days,Early 1980's,I was ayoung man back then and we had a deer lease in Blanco Tx.We shared many a good times and good laughs. My Dad passed on, in Nov.2006 at our cuurent lease in Junction Tx.I had'nt had a chance to talk to Walter in a while,but about a month ago through my Uncle Randy, I had a chance to talk to him on the phone, He told me how sorry he was to learn of my Dads passing, and how special a man that he thought my Dad was,and the memories of those Blanco Days THANKS WALTER. Walter was a wonderful and caring person. I have known him for a real long time and our kids grew up together. He was in a band with my late husband of which they both had played guitars and sang songs together besides running around together.
He has a wonderful and caring person and has a family which he was very proud of and loved very deeply.
He will be missed very much.
