Vivian Cooper Cole
Vivian Cooper Cole passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family, on October 12,2023 at the blessed age of 91 in Houston, Texas.
Vivian is survived by her sons, Charles H. Cole, Benny R. Cole and wife Ofelia, Garry C. Cole and wife Lisa.
Grandchildren, Jessica D. Cole, and William G. Cole; Great-grandchildren, Cole J. Vand and Hensley I. Cole, Journee M. Vand and Rylann R. Cole; 6 nephews, and 7 nieces, and great nephews and great niece.
Vivian was preceded in death by her Father William H. Cooper, Mother Desba C. Frisby Cooper; husband, Billy C. Cole; sister, Alvida Upchurch, and brothers, Gayle K. Cooper, Judge A. Cooper, and Benjamin J. Cooper and niece, Katherine C. Wood.
Vivian was a member of Church of Christ in Channelview, Texas. She was a Preschool Bible School Teacher at Jacinto City Church of Christ and Royal Wood Church of Christ for 20 years.
Vivian began working at Rockglen General Hospital in 1967 and retired from East Houston Regional in 2002.
Vivian was a member of various clubs and organizations, such as the 4H Clup Jasper, Texas, Library Club Jasper High School, AARP Chapter 1160, Red Hat Organization, Seniors Organization Heritage Hall, G.P. Fun Club, and Exercise Classes. Vivian enjoyed doing these 3 days a week Crafts Crochet, Sewing, Cooking. Games: Dominoes, Cards, Rummikub Word Puzzle.
She loved to travel and go on trips.
