Mrs. Virginia Ida Pilkenton's Obituary
Virginia Ida Pilkenton, 92 passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012 in a Houston hospital. She was born in Leslie, MO to Otto M. Lorenz and Effie F. Bandy Lorenz on June 17, 1920. Mrs. Pilkenton is survived by her loving sons, Roger Pilkenton and his wife Mary and David Pilkenton and his wife Pat; her grandchildren Dana Cabler, Paul Pilkenton, Jody Pilkenton and his wife Jen, Susan Bell and her husband Dennis, and Kirt Morrison; great-grandchildren Daaron McKellen, Grayson McKellen, Kayla McKellen, Ryan Pilkenton, Kyle Pilkenton, Cheyenne Bell, Sierra Bell, and Garrett Bell.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Graveside services are to be held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 1:30 in the afternoon in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1215 Lemay Ferry Rd, Mehlville, MO with Pastor Michael Okine officiating. The funeral procession will depart from Kutis Funeral Home located at 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd for Mt. Hope at 1:00 PM. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in Virginia's name to Messiah Lutheran Church, 2846 South Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63118.
