Vester R. Smith, 88, born on December 14, 1930 entered into rest on September 28, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents; Clarence Smith and Bertha Bell Bullard Smith, wife, Mary Ann Smith, daughter, Regina May Porche, son, Ricky Dale Smith, sisters; Viola Simmons, Vadie Pittman, Vernice Barnes, brothers; Virgil Smith, Verlon Smith, Viril Smith, Van Smith and Vandell Smith and brother in law, Joseph Leroy Reed. He is survived by four grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, sisters; Vera Reed, Verlene Strickland & husband Lester, brothers; Varnell Smith and wife Sue, Vernon Smith & wife Kathryn. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 5-8 P.M. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor, Richard George officiating. Followed by Interment at San Jacinto Memorial Park
