Tyler Wayne Babbitt's Obituary
Tyler Wayne Babbitt of Channelview, TX was born on January 25, 2000 in East Houston Regional to parents Michael Babbitt and Nancy Smith and passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018.
He was the last born of three children. Tyler has a twin brother Cody Babbitt. He attended Channelview ISD his entire academic career, except for the 6 months that he attended Pronghorm Elementary in Gillette, WY. After graduation, he began his career as an electrician’s apprentice. His best friends are his brother Cody Babbitt, Chad Babbitt, and Jason Foux.
Tyler was active in organizations, the clubs that he was involved in were the Channelview Little League, FFA, Channelview Falcons JV, and tournament fishing. In his spare time, Tyler loved hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, sports, go-kart racing, R.C. car racing, and playing video games. He loved country and classic rock, two of his favorite songs are Troubadour by George Strait and The Chain by Fleetwood Mac. He will be remembered for being sweet, caring, respectful, loving, and very generous.
Tyler is preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Bob Babbitt. He is survived by his father Michael Babbitt; mother, Nancy Smith; sister Amber Morris; twin brother, Cody Babbitt; Memaw, Sherry Poole; girlfriend, Bella Rodas; as well as many more family members and a host of friends.
A visitation will take place on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at San Jacinto Funeral Home 14659 East Freeway in Houston, TX. A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 1:30pm at River Pointe Church at 970 Dell Dale St. in Channelview, TX. Pastor Rob Morris will preside over services. A graveside service will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
