Treva Mae Honey's Obituary
Nobody wants to have to say goodbye to their daughter, but sometimes God has other plans in store for our precious children.
Treva Mae Fox, born on May 30, 1960 to parents Patsy Davis and Sherman Fox at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas. She left this world in August 25th, 2014 to be with the Lord. She attended Galena Park High School. She is survived by her spouse Jerry Secrest, her siblings Annette White and Katie Sikorski, children, Jessie Manrique, Wayne Maitland, Jason Garsee, Jason Secrest, Justin Secrest, and Jordon Secrest, eleven wonderful grandchildren.
During this difficult time, I am trying my best to keep a positive attitude. I could never have asked for a more wonderful daughter. Everything she did made us proud. From her earliest days at home, sleeping soundly through the night, to her last moments here with us, she made us the luckiest parents on Earth. She loved the outdoors and could spend hours watching the birds and drinking coffee in the mornings with her husband. She enjoyed watching football with her family and the Texans were her favorite team.
Her dogs were her babies and she loved them dearly. She loved her husband, family, children and her beloved grandchildren were her entire world. She cherished every moment with them she could spend. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, daughter and will truly be missed.
Memories will come from moments of life that will never be forgotten. A daughter is a blessing, she brought light, happiness, and sunshine. Amidst all the sadness must shine that ray of light that she gave us all the precious memories we share will last forever. She will be truly missed by everyone that had the chance to know her. Her favorite passage was “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not parish, but have ever lasting life”. She believed in God!
