Teresa Ann Hodges' Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Ann Hodges, who entered eternal rest on June 6, 2026, at the age of 64.
Teresa was born on October 13, 1961, in Channelview, Texas, to William D. Hodges and Geraldine Traver Hodges. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose kindness, compassion, and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
A dedicated Registered Nurse for more than 40 years, Teresa devoted her career to caring for others. She was respected for her professionalism, commitment, and the genuine compassion she showed her patients and colleagues throughout her distinguished nursing career.
Beyond her profession, Teresa found her greatest happiness in spending time with family, traveling the world, and enjoying peaceful days fishing. She created countless cherished memories with those she loved and embraced every opportunity for adventure, laughter, and togetherness.
Teresa is survived by her loving mother, Geraldine Hodges of Baytown, Tx.; her brother, Steven Hodges (Nora) of Baytown, Tx.; her grandsons, Dane Anzaldua (Shelbi Smith) of Baytown, Texas, and Trey Anzaldua (Jaida) of Virginia; and her nieces and nephews, James Selmser III (Jessica Kennison) of Conroe, Texas, Justin Hodges (Ariel) of Highlands, Texas, Shelby Rivers (David) of Baytown, Texas, and Marissa Reitzel (Caleb) of Willis, Texas. Teresa was also blessed with six great nieces and great nephews whom she adored and who brought her immeasurable joy.
She was preceded in death by her father, William D. Hodges, and her beloved daughter, Anna Hall Hutton.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Teresa’s life during a visitation on June 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at San Jacinto Memorial Park and Funeral Home, located at 14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015. Funeral services will be held on June 25, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the same location.

Teresa will be remembered for her unwavering love of family, her dedication to the nursing profession, her adventurous spirit, and the positive impact she made on the lives of so many. Her legacy of compassion, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
