Suzie Turbeville, 70, of Channelview, Texas, passed away on November 22, 2025, in her hometown. She was born on December 1, 1954, in Tomball, Texas, to Jack and Dorothy Willingham.
On December 10, 1992, Suzie married the love of her life, Marty Turbeville, in Channelview. Together they built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and family. Suzie was a proud and hardworking businesswoman, owning and operating Wolf’s Hamburgers for 34 years. Her restaurant became a beloved gathering place in the community, where she welcomed friends and neighbors with kindness and a smile. Beyond her business, Suzie was deeply committed to supporting Precinct 3 and local police organizations, reflecting her strong sense of civic pride and community service.
Suzie’s passions were as vibrant as her personality. She was an avid Houston Astros fan, cheering faithfully for her team. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandson, who were the light of her life. Whether enjoying trips to the casino, hosting family gatherings, or sharing stories with friends, Suzie’s joy was contagious, and her presence brought warmth to every room.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Marty Turbeville; her daughter, Becky Thibodeaux, and husband Daniel; and her son, Jason Vaughn, and wife Brittany. She is also survived by her sisters, Tracy Selsor and husband Paul, Sherry Porock, and Mary Patten; her brother, Tommy Willingham, and wife Cindy; three beloved grandchildren, Alyssa, Jaxon, and Brandi; and her cherished great-grandson, Silas.
Suzie will be remembered for her generosity, her love of family, and her unwavering dedication to her community. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
