Mr. Stylianos "Stelios" Arapoglou's Obituary
Stylianos “Stelios” Arapoglou, 65, was born on February 20, 1951 to the late Artemios and Elpida Arapoglou in Greece and passed away on September 29, 2016 in Houston, Texas.
Stelios was a dynamic, energetic and charismatic gentleman. If he saw that you were having a bad day or needed your spirits lifted, he made sure that it happened. He was the life of the party and could make anyone laugh within a matter of seconds of meeting him. He was a successful business man and took great pride in his work. He owned JC Café and Brother In Law’s BBQ in Houston, Texas.
Stelios is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Maria; children: Carla Rodriguez (Ernesto) and Artemi “Tim” Arapoglou (Bianca); grandchildren: Jonathon and Marcel; siblings: Lea Zaharatos, Maria Fragioudakis, Rena Arapoglou and Petros Arapoglou; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, with the Trisagion Service at 6:00 pm, in the Chapel at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 3511 Yoakum Blvd., Houston, Texas 77006, with interment to follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
