his is what I wrote for my father’s eulogy . I wish I would have read it , so I’ll post it here for y’all to see . ❤️
“ I want to thank everyone for their support ,love ,and condolences to my family and I. And those who visited him in the hospital. Looking back when I was younger , all the memories I had with him from him teaching me how to cook, fish, and helping him change the brake’s pads or him yelling at us to hold the flashlight right ,so he can see the engine . He also taught me as a parent now , how to always make time and listen to your kids , as he would always do. He also taught me as a parent that you can discipline your kids and be their best friend at the same , as he was mine . I’m going to miss him at family events , hearing Mona and Liza in the background laughing all the time with him . Him smiling while Uncle Vincent is playing guitar and hanging out with everyone.I’m going to miss sending him photos of his grand babies all the time and talking to him. Recently my oldest son came up to me while I was sitting on the couch out of nowhere, tells me “grandpa is with Jesus .” I find peace in knowing my dad is no longer in pain and his with our Heavenly Father , smiling down on us with his brothers and nephew Andrew . I love and miss you Dad and we’ll be thinking of you every day until we meet again . “ - your babygirl.
