Santos Angel Hernandez Vasquez, 77, of Galena Park, TX passed away August 25, 2021 in Pasadena, TX. He was born October 1, 1943 to Carlos Hernandez Sauceda and Margarita Hernandez Vasquez in Matamoros Tamaulipas, Mexico.
He married Elisa Puentes on November 26, 1963 in Control, Tamaulipas. He was an auto mechanic and a member of his church at Iglesia Fe Y Poder.
He enjoyed playing his harmonica, dancing, fishing, listening to music, playing his bongos, loved telling stories and loved being surrounded by his family.
Santos is survived by his wife, Elisa Hernandez of Galena Park, TX; daughters, Blanca Alejos and husband Joel of Galena Park, TX, Griselda Teel and husband Garth of Pearland, TX, Elizabeth Cox and husband Gregory of Bulverde, TX, and Leslie Belden and husband Jonathan of Galena Park, TX; sons, Santos Angel Hernandez, Jr., and Francisco and wife Lydia Hernandez of Galena Park, TX; sisters, Francisca Rodriguez and husband Matias of Houston, TX; Blanca Fonseca and husband Eleazar of Crosby, TX, and Juana Delia Cortez and husband Mario of Matamoros, Tam.; brothers, Fausto Hernandez and wife Anita; grandchildren, Miriam, Astrid, Kimberly, Kristina, Kassandra, Manuel, Michael, Crystal, Scot, Devin, Taylor, Garth, Ashton, Lauren, Jacy, Chris, Troy, Noah, Ariane, Ava, Emma; 6 great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Amanda, Ashlynn, Jakob, and Ariana.
Santos was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Margarita Hernandez; brothers, Oscar Hernandez and Antonio Hernandez; grandchildren, Francisco Javier Hernandez, Jr., and Carlos Angel Hernandez.
