Sandy Lynn Taylor, 44, of New Caney, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on January 15, 1981, to Dwight Tatum and Lola Swick in Houston, Texas, Sandy's life was a testament to love, faith, and family.
Sandy married the love of her life, Waylon Taylor, on September 18, 2020, in Hardin, Texas. As a devoted stay-at-home mom and wife, Sandy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished her time spent at church, where her faith flourished, and she delighted in the company of her family and friends.
Sandy's legacy lives on through her loving family: her husband, Waylon Taylor; her daughter, Dawnyette Tatum Freeman of Cleveland, Texas; her sons, Dominic Tatum and his wife Halley Taber of New Caney, Texas, and Dylan Tatum of Dayton, Texas; her sister, Priscilla Tatum of Dayton, Texas; her brother, Dwight Tatum, and his wife, Kimberly Tatum, of Liberty, Texas; and her beloved granddaughter, Kaycelyn Tatum. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Dwight Tatum and Lola Swick, and her brother, Dwayne Tatum.
Sandy's warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those she leaves behind.
