Sandra Lee Green, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and tireless advocate for children, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on August 4, 1953, in Baytown, Texas, Sandra touched the lives of countless people with her unwavering dedication, compassion, and servant’s heart.

Sandra’s life was a testament to her commitment to empowering and nurturing others. She was a lifelong champion for children, not only for her own family but also for the many young lives she influenced through Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and band booster programs. Her selfless mentorship helped shape more than a hundred Eagle Scouts and countless Girl Scout Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award recipients. Her dedication was a true labor of love, as she worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure her children, grandchildren, and others had access to life-enriching experiences that would broaden their horizons and guide them toward their fullest potential.
Sandra loved unconditionally and celebrated the unique strengths of every person she touched. She never sought accolades or recognition for herself, finding her greatest joy in the accomplishments of those she supported. Her family will always remember her as a cheerleader, confidant, and Proverbs 31 woman of strength, wisdom and courage.
Sandra’s legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for her unwavering faith, quiet strength, and immeasurable impact on her family and community.
The family requests those that have the Common Book of Prayer available to them to please bring your book with you for Mrs. Sandra's Celebration of Life.
A memorial service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held on January 31, 2025 at 1pm, at San Jacinto Cemetery and Funeral Home with viewing from 10-1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a 529K college account for Collin Knox Lagrone and future great grand children.
