Sandra Tomasa Castillo's Obituary
Sandra Tomasa Castillo, (54) was called home to Jesus' loving arms on Saturday, November 28, 2020. She was born on October 5, 1966 in Brownsville, Texas to Thomas Vincent Rusoe (deceased) and Manuela Mireles Garza. She attended Hannah High School in Brownsville, Texas.
Sandra dedicated her life to her grandchildren, son, daughter, and life partner. She enjoyed cooking her favorite meals, mostly Italian and Chinese food, broccoli cheese casserole, and home-made stuffing. She loved drinking Dr. Pepper with milk and red wine. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows like American Horror Story and The Masked Singer and laughing to Madea movies. Her favorite past-time was listening to 70’s music and spending time with family celebrating birthdays and milestones. But what made Sandra the happiest in life was taking long walks with her hand in Junior’s pocket. He was her Low-Rider and she was his Pachuca.
Sandra is survived by her life partner Ernesto Moya, Jr; son, Jerry Castillo; daughter, Christina D. Castillo; 2 brothers, Thomas V. Rusoe, Jr. and Reymundo Mireles; 4 sisters, Mary Lou Guerra, Rose Marie Perez, Marina Rusoe, and Adriana Roman; grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Ceron and Christine Marie Castillo; 1 aunt; 1 uncle; 8 nieces, 12 nephews; and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements handled through San Jacinto Memorial Park and Funeral Home 14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX 77015. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 5pm-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11:30 am with interment to follow.
