Sanjuana Corona's Obituary
San Juana Corona, age 74, of Galena Park, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in Webster, Texas. Born on August 23, 1950, to Juan and Francisca Gonzalez in Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, San Juana lived a life full of love, faith, and dedication.
She married the love of her life Antonio Corona on May 12, 1971. A devoted homemaker, San Juana's heart was her home, where she nurtured her family with boundless love and care. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a devout member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where she found solace and community.
San Juana had a green thumb and a passion for gardening. Her garden was a vibrant testament to her love for flowers, each bloom a reflection of her nurturing spirit. She found joy in the simple beauty of nature, and her garden was a sanctuary for her and all who visited. She found joy in crafting as well.
She is survived by her loving children: Jose Antonio Corona, Juan Corona-Gonzalez and his wife Gina Smith, Alejandro Corona, Melissa Corona, Elizabeth Corona and her husband Jose Manuel Medina. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Aidan Corona, Kiara Corona, Sergio Garcia Jr., Mia Ibarra Alexandra Corona, Camila Corona, Jose Muro, Julissa Muro, Jacob Muro, Jaelissa Muro, Alyssa Valverde, and Madison Smith, and her great-grandchildren: Ace, Sergio Jr., Thalia, Josiah, Julian, and Jaelynn. San Juana is also survived by her dear siblings: Elsa Garcia and her husband Jose Garcia, Rebecca Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, and Juan Gonzalez.
She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband Antonio Corona, parents Juan and Francisca Corona, her siblings Ruben Gonzalez, Blanca Peña and Felipe Gonzalez.
San Juana's life was a tapestry woven with love, faith, and family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her memory will be a source of comfort and inspiration, reminding us all of the beauty of a life well-lived.
