Mr. Salome Enriquez, Jr.'s Obituary
Salome Enriquez, Jr., 87, was born on November 21, 1929 to the late Salome Enriguez, Sr and Susana Espinoza in Morelos, Coahuila, Mexico and passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 23, 2017 in Houston, Texas.
Salome married the love of his life, Ms. Minerva Trevino on December 29, 1956, and they were blessed with 60 years of marriage. He was a devoted and faithful member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Galena Park, Texas. Salome was a devoted husband and father. He loved listening to all types of music, one of his favorite songs was “Mi Linda Esposa”.
Salome worked in the construction business and was a construction foreman, he took pride in everything that he accomplished. He has a great sense of humor and his beloved wife and his family were his top priority. Everything he did and accomplished in life was because of them, to make sure they were taken care of.
Salome is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Minerva; children: Maria Enriquez and husband Robert Moreno, Irma Melara and husband Carlos Melara, Jose Luis and wife Elsa Enriquez, Martin Enriquez, David Enriquez: grandchildren: Angela Mendoza, Stephen Rosas, Karina Melara, Adriana Melara, Julio Enriquez, Martin Rosas and Christopher Rosas; great-grandchildren: Isabella, Yasmin, Abel, Sergio, David, Julian, Nova and Carly; as well as numerous family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm in the Chapel at San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, Houston, Texas 77015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 7539 Avenue K, Houston, Texas 77012. Salome will be laid to rest immediately following at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston, Texas.
