Ruby Marie Hammock's Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Marie Hammock, age 85, of Houston, Texas, passed away July 8, 2020 at her Port Author home.
She was born April 19, 1935, in Lafayette, Louisiana, daughter to the late Cleveland Dugas and Marie Dalfrey.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Hammock Sr., brother CJ Dugas, daughter Vera Lannon, son Lewis Hammock Jr. and son James Hammock.
Ruby was a regional sales manager and retired from A.N. Rushe. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, gambling and playing cards. Ruby loved her grandchildren, Sharon and husband John Bamburg, Theresa and husband Dago Flores, Tommy and wife Ana McMillan, Stephen Lannon, Wendy and husband Micheal Hutchinson, William and wife Tanya Hammock, Morgan Hammock, Ashley Hammock, and Billy Hammock. She was a proud grandmother to seventeen great grandchildren and twenty-eight great great grandchildren.
Ruby is survived by her sister Rose Nation, daughter Cynthia and husband Kelton Jordan, son in law Micheal Lannon, and daughter in law Susan Hammock. Ruby also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm Saturday, July 25, 2020 at San Jacinto Memorial Park, 14659 East Fwy Houston, Texas 77015.
