Mrs. Rose Mary Gaskins' Obituary
Rose Mary Gaskins, 79, of Channelview, TX was born on September 18, 1939 in Gilmer, Texas to parents Frankie Evelyn Blue and Dempsey Eugene Blue, and entered into rest on Friday, October 12, 2018.
She was the eldest of three children. She attended and graduated Hobbs High School. After graduation she began her role as a wife and mother. Rose Mary and Eugene Gaskins were married on October 16, 1981. In 2001, Rose Mary retired after 30 years of service as a clerical worker for Harris County.
Rose Mary is preceded in death by her parents Dempsey and Frankie Blue and her brother Donald Blue. She is survived by her husband Gene Gaskins; daughters, Evelyn Teakell and Nikki Parsons; sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hagler; (6) grandchildren, JR, Heather, April, Melanie, Brittany, and Amber; (6) great grandchildren, Sydney, Shelley, Rhett, Lane, Bennett, and Kaycee; and special friend, Pat Watson.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 12:30 to 1:30pm at San Jacinto Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 1:30pm. A graveside service will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.
