Rosalinda Martinez, age 60, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. She was born June 17, 1960 to Cruz Perez Sr. and Maria Inez Perez. On February 14, 1992 she married Robert Martinez. She is survived by her husband Robert, two sons, Sean and Johnathan, as well as (brothers and sisters) Robert, Patricia, Susan, Cruz Jr., Richard, Ernest, Sonya, and Sandra. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces, as well as several great nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her father Cruz Sr., her mother Maria, nephew James, and nieces Natalie and Abigail.
Rosa loved animals. She has 4 dogs and 1 cat. She hated Max (the cat) but in the end she fell in love with him. Her sons would bring stray animal's home and she didn't want them but in the end she fell in love with them too. Rosa loved visiting and talking with her sisters. Especially, she loved talking to her great niece Yazmin forever about Jesus. She would love to go shopping at Walmart and spend a couple of hours looking for sales. You would usually see her listening to her Oldies music or reading a book. One thing about Rosa, she was the sweetest person, always putting everybody first before herself. She always made you feel comfortable and at ease. It was like she had known you forever. She had the cutest giggle that she would make, but the most important thing she was beautiful inside and out. She will be greatly missed.
