Everytime I hear the Pet Shop Boys or Erasure I will think of you :D Roland you will always have special place in my heart. I am much obliged that I was able to share your last days with you. We laughed, shared and cried together. During those last nights when you were in pain and scared I was honored to be by your side holding your hand. And most of all we were able to say goodbye to eachother. roland, i will always hold fond memories of the years we work and played together. I met you later in life but instantly we became friends regardless of the age difference; you were closer in age to my son than me. I admire you for many reasons but mostly because "no" one divide who you were. I loved your honestly even if it stung at times. I will never forget your humor and that laugh. During your celebration of life on Friday everyone who spoke of your bond whether it was family or friendship and assure you friends many were reunited and this you made happen. I wasn't a lifelong or everyday type of friend but we had no problem picking up were we left off. I finally met your Grandma and spk w/your Mom and primos; it was very heartwarming. I have no doubt you took a piece of many family and friends with you and time will heal but memories will last a lifetime; love ola
The main thing I remember about Roland was his infectious smile and laughter! I'm sure he continues to do so as he looks over us all! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and numerous friends as we all struggle to make it through this difficult time!
