Robert Wright, age 59, of Houston, Texas, passed away on October 7, 2025, in Houston. He was born on April 13, 1966, in Galveston, Texas, and was the beloved son of Velores Hayes.
A dedicated truck driver for 35 years, Robert took great pride in his work and found true joy on the open road, especially behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler. Outside of his profession, he had a deep love for fishing and being near the water. Above all, he treasured time spent with his family.
Robert is survived by his daughters: Brittany, Tori (Shelton), and Hailee; His sister, Nicole; Sister-in-law, Sharita; Nieces: Kenicia, Kayla, Katelynn, and Samaya; Nephews: Kenneth, Kevon, and Kelan; and his aunt, Gloria. He is also lovingly remembered by the mothers of his children, Rhonda and Amanda; his grandchildren: Tony, Major, Jayce, and Kylee; and his cherished play daughters, Jaynitha and Calandra.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Velores; father, Robert; Brother, Kenneth; Nephew, Da'Shawn; Aunt, Rondely; and uncles, Allen and Eugene.
Robert will be remembered for his warm heart, his love for the open road, and his ability to bring people together. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and the lasting memories he leaves behind.
