Everyone always loved when Bud would come to visit at Iva's. He would get that rocking chair going and the more stories he told, the faster he rocked. He brought the light into any room. I miss those huge family get togethers.
I remember being marooned with him & my family when we got caught in the middle of an awful hurricane that hit Beaumont in the mid 50's. We had a wonderful time!
I am so sad to see the last of the Dunning boys go and I'll surely miss him.
One of Bud's funniest lines . . . "Sister (Cara Mae), smell that ginger".
I remember Uncle Bud always had a great laugh, he seemed to enjoy life and had great stories to tell. He loved his family and will be missed by all of his loved ones.
Betty, Buds baby sister, wanted everyone to know she wishes she was able to travel. She wants to be there but but also to express her appreciation to Carolyn and Bobbie for the care and companionship they have given Bud in the past.
Bud was the 14th of 15 children and was never without a few good words or a story about his service days or stories about his days in the sales profession. He would look at the humorous side of each situation. He will be missed.
Bud is the last of the Dunning boys. I can remember sitting and listening to family stories told by my dad, Everett, Junior, Bill,& Bud. They were entertaining & most likely exaggereated. They sure enjoyed each others company.
