Mr. Robert Hal Benson's Obituary
Robert Hal Benson, 71, was born on March 1, 1947 in Brownwood, Texas to Arthur and Annie Benson and passed away on March 21, 2018 surrounded by his loving family in Seabrook, Texas.
Robert was a graduate of Pearland High School and University of Houston. Robert honorably served his Country in the Navy for 4 years and received the Navy Achievement Medal. On July 4, 1987, Robert married Denise Ann Benson and they were blessed with many years of marriage.
Robert was funny, caring and an outdoorsman. He also coached youth baseball in Deer Park. Robert enjoyed baseball, fishing and camping. In 2007, Robert retired from Shell Oil Company after 30 plus years of service and most of his retirement, he went fishing.
Robert is survived by his children: Barret Benson (Devin Benson), Amber Salinas (Albert Salinas) and Rochelle Weiskopf; sisters: Debbie Sturgeon and Barbara Dalke; grandchildren: Riley Bailey, Tate Bailey and Myka Benson; as well as a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Benson will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, 2:00 pm at Gateway Community Church, 760 Clear Lake City Boulevard, Webster, Texas 77598.
