Richard's zest for life was evident in his many passions. An outstanding athlete of track and field and football, he embraced the thrill of sports with boundless energy. These interests were more than hobbies; they were ways Richard connected with friends and family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
His dedication extended beyond his personal passions into his professional life. Working in construction as a contractor laborer, Richard's hard work and commitment helped build not only structures but also the strong foundations of his community in Houston, Texas, where he later resided.
