Ricardo (Richard) Arreguin, 69, of Baytown, TX passed away on Dec 3, 2025 in Houston, TX. He was born in Lubbock, TX to Ynes R. Arreguin and Amelia G. Arreguin.
He is survived by siblings, Antonio Ray Gonzalez of Baytown, TX, Teresa Espino of Houston, TX, Carolina Guzman of Richmond, TX, and Raymundo Arreguin of Houston, TX. Daughter, Vanessa Oropeza of Pasadena, TX and granddaughter, Adriana. Nephews and nieces, Armando Garza, Jr., Antonio R. Gonzalez, Jr., Hector L. Guzman, Jr., Priscilla M. Cuellar, Anival Espino. Alexis N. Garza, Aerial M. Garza, Kayley M. Crone, Kara L. Cuellar, Jonathan D. Cuellar, Ava M. Guzman, Angel A. Espino, Arleth Y. Garza, Armando Garza, III., Marissa Aguilar, Antonio R. Gonzalez, III., and Serena Gonzalez.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Ynes R. Arreguin, mother, Amelia G. Arreguin, brother, Ynes Arreguin, Jr., and nephew, Angel Y. Espino.
“Rico”, as known to his beloved family and friends, enjoyed music, playing guitar, DJing, dancing, camping, family events often being the life of the party, and was a devout Dallas Cowboy fan. He was strong in his faith and loved family. Rico will be remembered as a personable, fun loving, respectful, and compassionate person. God has called him home, and we’ll forever cherish his memory. RIP
